    What is Ukeou?

Ukeou is an AI agent platform for freelancers, agencies and companies – build AI agents without code or prompt tinkering. Unlike an AI assistant or chatbot that only answers, autonomous AI agents (agentic AI) work out entire assignments here: a circle of AI agents plans the steps, runs three passes of draft, critique and revision, and hands you a memo with tasks and ownership for approval. The structure comes from holacracy – circles with their own purpose, roles instead of job titles, and a constitution that applies to everyone. That turns prompts into real AI coworkers for recurring work. Ukeou runs as a desktop app, primary storage stays local on your machine, and processing happens exclusively on servers in Germany – GDPR-compliant AI with no third-country transfer.

Basics and use cases: Guide: AI agents for companies

AI agents for companies: what Ukeou as AI agent software can do

    Circles

Areas of responsibility with their own purpose and memory – one client, one topic, nothing gets mixed up.

    Lead Agents

They take your assignment, assign roles inside the circle and hand you the result. You talk to one, not five.

    Routines

Recurring assignments start on schedule – the weekly report writes itself.

    Constitution

The rules above all circles: what applies, what must never happen, what needs your approval.

    Your Data Stays With You

Primary storage sits locally on your machine, cloud is optional. No training on your content.

    Processed in Germany

GDPR-compliant on servers in Germany, no third-country transfer. DPA under Art. 28 GDPR.

    Every decision has a record

A complete event-log history: who approved what, when and on which basis.

    Deleted means gone

Delete a workspace and the encrypted database is removed from your device – we keep no copy.

    How it works

    1. 01

      Hand it over

Say in one sentence what needs to get done. That's all the circle needs.

    2. 02

      Let it work

Three passes – draft, critique, revision – without you sitting in on it.

    3. 03

      Approve

The finished memo lands on your desk with tasks and ownership. Nothing ships without your yes.

    Frequently asked questions

    What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is software that pursues a goal on its own: it plans the steps, uses tools and data, checks its intermediate result and delivers a finished outcome. The difference to an AI assistant: the assistant answers a question, the agent completes the assignment.

What are AI agents and what is agentic AI?

AI agents are several such autonomous units working on one assignment, each with a role. Agentic AI is the umbrella term: AI that acts instead of only answering. In Ukeou these agents work in circles with their own memory.

How do AI agents work in Ukeou?

You hand over an assignment in one sentence. The lead agent assigns roles inside the circle, then three passes run: draft, critique, revision. At the end a memo with tasks and ownership is waiting – nothing is executed without your approval.

Can I build AI agents without coding?

Yes. You describe a circle's purpose in plain language, set rules in the constitution and start the first assignment – no code, no workflow builders, no prompt library.

Which AI agents does Ukeou offer?

Instead of ready-made single agents you set up circles for your areas of responsibility – marketing, proposals, reporting or one circle per client. Each circle fills its own roles and keeps its own memory.

What is an AI agent platform?

An AI agent platform carries out tasks on its own instead of only answering. It manages agents, roles, memory, tools and approvals in one place. In Ukeou a circle takes the assignment, works it through three passes and hands you a memo for approval.

What is the difference between Ukeou and ChatGPT?

A chat answers while you sit there supplying context. Ukeou takes the whole assignment: a circle with its own memory, three passes including self-critique, and finally a memo with tasks, ownership and approval – with the path there fully readable.

What happens if the AI makes a mistake?

Nothing goes out without your approval. Ukeou presents finished results – you decide what gets executed and what can wait.

Is Ukeou GDPR-compliant, even with client data?

Your content is processed in Germany, never used to train models and never sold. For client data a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is concluded.

What does Ukeou cost, and is AI usage billed extra?

There are three plans, billed annually: Founder at €83 a month for freelancers, Studio at €291 for agencies and small teams, Organization at €825 for teams of five and up. Paid monthly it is €99, €349 and €990, all net plus 19% VAT. Enterprise with SSO and self-hosting starts around €2,500 a month. Every plan includes a fixed allowance of assignments with AI usage priced in – once it is used up you can optionally buy credits. Auto-reload is off by default and a hard spending limit is available.

Can I cancel any time and take my data with me?

Yes, any time at the end of the billing period, with no minimum term. Your content sits locally on your machine anyway, and a machine-readable export is available directly from the app.

    Which AI is GDPR compliant?

An AI is GDPR compliant when processing happens inside the EU, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place, no training runs on your content, and deletion and access requests are technically possible. Ukeou meets exactly that: processing exclusively on servers in Germany, no third-country transfer, primary storage local on your device.

How do AI and data protection work together?

Privacy-compliant AI means data minimisation, a clear legal basis, purpose limitation and traceability. Ukeou logs every decision in the event log, keeps circles with separate memory apart, and puts every execution behind your approval.

Is Ukeou an AI made in Germany?

Yes. Ukeou is built and operated by nxvnt GmbH in Münster, Germany, and processing runs on German servers – AI made in Germany with no third-country transfer to the US.

Which tasks are worth handing to AI agents?

Anything recurring that eats time today: weekly reports, proposal drafts, research, turning notes into tasks, follow-ups. The clearer an assignment can be described, the more likely a circle carries it alone.

Are AI agents like AI coworkers?

The comparison holds for the workload, not for accountability. A circle takes over research, drafting and preparation like a trained colleague – decisions and approval always stay with you.
